The Walkers

The Walkers are such a great family. I was lucky enough to get to know them in my last ward. This past weekend all of the cousins were in town for "cousin camp" so Grandma placed a call to see if we could get a photo of all of them together. There were all sorts of actions, sounds, and chaos going on behind me to get all 13 of these cute faces pointing in the proper direction, and all of our hard work paid off. I thought all of the photos turned out well. I just loved these old red barns...they made awesome backgrounds for this awesome family.

Duard & Vanessa

We started Vanessa and Duard's engagement shoot in Old Town, but after the first few sets of pictures these two confessed that they were looking more for the outdoorsy look...Duard especially. So I had them jump into my car and we headed up to City Creek and then we finished at Ross Park. I felt like we got some really great shots at each location. They were both way fun to be around. I thought they were super cute together.

Trevor & Shaylise

Shaylise and Trevor came to me for some super speedy engagement pictures. Even though it was hot hot hot, the lighting for the pictures was absolutely perfect, and I was really excited with how they all turned out. Shaylise is one of those people who looks perfect in every single picture, and Trevor was great too, our only dilemma was working on the reflection in his glasses. They were really cute together and fun to work with, and I sure appreciated the ride home :)

Teagan

Adorable girlie, adorable outfit, adorable hat, perfect weather, perfect background...equals amazing pictures! These may be some of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. Teagan is so photogenic. The camera loves her. She has been known to have a little bit of an attitude, so I stole her away, just the two of us, and she performed like a champ! Honestly, I bet there were more than a 100 shots that are frame-worthy. I picked a few of my favorites, but it was not an easy task. Man, I love these photos and this little girl.

Hudson

Itty bitty Hudson debuted in his first photo shoot at 6-days-old. We did a quick session inside where he relieved himself in more than one way--more than once on all the props :) He did great in all of the shots, but we decided to do something I have never done before...take newborn pictures outside. The weather was perfect to give it a try-overcast but super warm. I was extremely excited with how the photos turned out. He looks so adorable on the old Dodge truck. I am now going to want to take ALL newborn shots outside. Oh so tiny...oh so cute.
