Makai & Marisa

I took Makai's pictures when he was only 3 weeks old. He is such a beautiful baby. When he got here he was sound asleep so I hurried to take some "sleepy" pictures. He looked so stinking comfortable lying there, it was hard for me to move him...but once I did that was end of that. Makai was so alert there was not a chance that we could his eyes to close again. He pooped on one blanket, peed on another, but stayed happy all the while--too funny. I also snapped a few quick pictures of Makai's big sister, Marisa. She is so stinking pretty.

The Brower Grandkids

I went out to Inkom to take pictures of the Brower Grandkids. It was so beautiful out there, just a little sunny. I guess I didn't think about the top of a mountain meaning very little shade. These kids were so easy to work with. We were done in no time flat. I decided to include a before & after picture at the bottom. I thought it was funny that only one shot apart the difference was so significant.

Isaiah & Jordan

I was a little disappointed when Isaiah showed up for pictures not in his favorite outfit...underwear and snow boots. This little neighborhood streaker is so stinking cute I can't take it. His eyes are INCREDIBLE. Jordy wasn't quite as sure if she wanted her picture taken. She was much more comfortable on her mommy's lap; however, if we posed any kind of challenge such as, "I get to sit on that chair; it's my turn." She would jump up and run as quickly as possible...a true competitor :) They were so good and fun to have here. Oh, by the way, that is Isaiah showing his muscles at the bottom of the page...no pain was inflicted.

Taylor

Taylor is as sweet as they come. She was a soft spoken, dress-up loving, well mannered, little miss. Although she has a lot of serious looking photos, Taylor really was happy the whole time she was here. Her smiles were just quick. She LOVED the whole concept of dressing up. She would go pick a tu tu, sit for a quick shot, only a few seconds, and go back to the tote to try something else on. I also loved her facial expressions. Although she didn't say a whole lot...her face told the whole story. I just loved having Taylor here.

The Mays

Maddux, Hunter, Bracken, & Hallie's Grandma wanted some quick pictures of her four grandchildren together...and I mean quick. Trying to get four children, four and under, to sit still long enough for decent photo can present quite a challenge. Hallie put on a show. She would laugh hysterically at the chaos behind the camera and then stand up and dance in between every shot. Maddux has that sort of pained look on his face in most of them...like, is this ever going to end. Hunter stared blankly at the camera for the most part with the exception of a few laughing sessions with Hallie, and Bracken, well, he was not having it. It was pretty funny overall, and onlooker could have been really entertained. Maybe more so watching the adults doing everything in their power to get a smile.

Mattea

When Mattea came to have her pictures taken her mom warned me that Mattea hates having her picture taken. So I got everything ready, sat her down, waited for the tantrum to begin and...all smiles. I told her she was making a liar out of her mommy. Mattea certainly seemed to love having her picture taken on this particular day. She smiled like crazy--usually with her tongue which was hilarious, and didn't get a bit cranky until the very end.
