Olin

Olin came for some newborn pictures at 6 weeks old. The cute baby boy was sound asleep when he got here, but that lasted about 5 minutes. Then this blue-eyed boy was wide awake, and he was ticked. We tried all sorts of strategies to get this little fella to be happy and no matter what we did we could not make him happy. Finally in the middle of a wardrobe change, we found the key to Olin's happiness...no clothes. Once he was stripped down to his onesie Olin was all smiles--too funny.

The Porter Family

I met up with the Porter family in Old Town. It was so freezing cold that morning!! I'm still trying to warm up. It was just one of those windy Pocatello mornings, but it didn't stop this family from getting some great photos. These two little people especially hung in there like nobody's business. Shivering, red noses, even tears coming down the cheeks...you'd never know just looking through the photos. The whole family was so nice to work with.

The Harris Boys

I met up with the Harris boys in Malad for a super speedy, and I mean super speedy photo session before they head back to Michigan. It was a bit on the cold side and the ground which was covered in 2 feet of snow created some obstacles...but also a really cool background :) We were done in no more than 15 minutes, and I was really excited that within that fifteen minutes we were able to get some really fun shots. However, when you're this cute it makes it awfully easy. I sure love their mommy!!

Brower Grandkids

The adorable Brower grandkids showed up in brightly colored scarves and hats to brave the weather and take some surprise pictures for their grandparent's Christmas present. As grandchildren pictures can go...it was a bit of a workout, but it was really fun too. So with seven little people in front of me and four moms/aunt behind me we were working hard to create the perfect photo. The littlest of all was not too hip on being part of the photo shoot. By the very last spot she had had enough and was ticked when one of her aunts started singing a primary song. She stopped dead in her tracks looked at the camera, smiled, and sung along. It was so cute. Too bad we didn't figure out that little trick sooner.

The Halls

I met the Halls for some family pictures and some photos of Karli with her horse. I had never done a shoot with horses, but it was fun. Karli was adorable with her horse and because it was absolutely freezing outside...you could actually see our breath the whole time...the family photo session was fast and furious. Lucky for me, the whole family was totally photogenic so it didn't matter that we were in speed mode. I thought they turned out really well. Cute family.

Posey/Vanevery

The Posey/Vanevery family contacted me for some family photos while everyone was in town for the holidays. I asked what kind of background they were looking for and they were looking for snow and trees. Pocatello was a little low on snow, but I knew where to find plenty of trees :) So after a little exploring we really great spots. It was freezing cold, but everyone was so great to work with. They turned out great.
