Aniston

Okay for starters...how cute is this beautiful baby girl's name? I love love love it. Anyway, Aniston showed up for her newborn modeling debut looking perfect as ever. This dainty little miss looked adorable in the tutu her grandma had made for her. Her mom had told me that she is a total sleepyhead and would be so easy to pose...well, Aniston had plans for the morning alright, and those plans did not include having her pictures done. Actually, I'm pretty sure the only thing she had on her mind was eating. Her parents were awesome, though, and so super patient which made such a difference, and after a little break round two resulted in some pretty great pictures.

Noah

Itty bitty Noah came to me for some newborn photos. He seemed so small. His mommy thought for sure he'd stay asleep for us, but after a couple quick photos he was up and not at all interested in going back to sleep. She worked awfully hard to get him back to sleep and he finally caved although he did suffer from the infamous one eye open, one eye closed problem that several newborns tend to have while having their pictures taken :) He was great, though, and I had a lot of fun playing around with his photos. He is one lucky little guy to have some really great parents.

Warren & Nicole

Nicole & Warren were married in Malad and asked me to come and take photos of their special day. Nicole looked beautiful from top to bottom (even if she was wearing sneakers under that pretty dress) and Warren looked awfully handsome in his military gear. We dared brave the weather for a few quick minutes to get some great outdoor shots. The couple chose to get married in the middle of winter so they would have a chance to spend some time together as a couple before he heads to Iraq in the fall. They seemed really happy together and I wish them the best.

So sorry again about the delay...sheesh, we have had such a sick winter season. In the past 3 weeks we went through RSV, the stomach flu, and a nasty bout of mastitis. I know I sound a bit like a broken record with the sick kids story, but believe me I would much rather be working on pictures than cleaning up after the flu!! So for the moment we are finally healthy and I am going to working my tail off in the next week or so to get caught up. So if you're waiting for your pictures please be patient! I'll be done shortly!

Bridger

Oh boy! This was so stinking hard!! I loved every single shot of Bridger from his 6-month photo shoot, and I have spent far too much time going through them! Bridger's mommy and I struggled trying to decide if it was too cold for this handsome little fella to go out, but we decided to give it a try and layered him up. I am so happy that we did. He did great and smiled like a champ. He was hilarious to watch each car drive by so there were several series where he started looking left and ended looking right-so cute. I also had fun playing with the color and creating some "vintage" looking photos too. What a precious little man.

My Fam

Okay...I have been getting a lot of guff for not posting anything lately. I took a little break after the holidays and then it seems like we've had non-stop sick kids since, so the blogs have suffered, but I'm going to try to get back into the swing of things. To kick off my return I want to post some pictures of the people who are the most important in the world to me...my family. These are the people who keep me going through all of the madness otherwise known as my life. I love each and every one of them . We hadn't had family pictures in about 10 years. Yeah, I know, pathetic considering there's a photographer in the group, but we were super excited to get these done! (well, maybe not all of us) So here is just a random sampling-there were many more. A special thanks to my great friend Heidi for pushing the button :) I love all of you very much!!

Olin

Olin came for some newborn pictures at 6 weeks old. The cute baby boy was sound asleep when he got here, but that lasted about 5 minutes. Then this blue-eyed boy was wide awake, and he was ticked. We tried all sorts of strategies to get this little fella to be happy and no matter what we did we could not make him happy. Finally in the middle of a wardrobe change, we found the key to Olin's happiness...no clothes. Once he was stripped down to his onesie Olin was all smiles--too funny.
